The National Positive Practice in Mental Health Awards held last Friday in Liverpool is an annual event to celebrate national good practice in mental health. This year, the hosts received more nominations than ever before for what many people refer to as The Mental Health Oscars. Grassroots is a winner of this prestigious Suicide Prevention Award.
The 130 judges include experts drawn from a range of mental health disciplines include Lesley Dougan, programme Lead on MA Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice at Liverpool John Moores university.
